SERIE B – YTD: 55W-56L-29T (+24.19 units)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

<?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Vicenza at AREZZO – Many factors point to siding with the visitor. Start with their defensive effort in the last 9 games (4 goals allowed, including 5 shutouts). Also consider their form in the last 12 games, just one loss to Hellas Verona who is surging to avoid relegation. With 19 points, Arezzo is pretty much doomed for relegation. Offensive flow has been totally inexistent for the home side. Just 2 goals in the last 5 games, resulting in four losses and 1 draw in that same stretch. Since I don’t have to spot half a goal, the line is definitely to my liking. This is Serie B, where anything can happen, especially if red cards come to play, but see nothing that could convince me to side with the home side. Arezzo will take some chances today as they have nothing to lose, this should create some favorable opportunities for Vicenza who excels at controlling the midfield. With that being said, it would not surprise me if they push the over by themselves.
Vicenza pk +100 (6.5 units)
Vicenza over 2 -117 (6.5 units)

Bologna at GENOA – This is arguably the most important game for both these teams. Genoa in second place in the standings with 55 pts, and Bologna with 50 in sixth place. The home side is making a serious run for Serie A graduation and must take full opportunity of a Bologna team who is psychologically down following the 3-2 sting by Napoli last week on the home court. I would normally have sided with them in this spot, but some critical factors have me siding with the home side. For starters, Bologna has 4 key injuries, with Nervo, Danilevicius, Mingazzini, and Bellucci (doubtful). The most critical being Bellucci, who is the heart and soul of their offense. Genoa has been splendid at home with 10 wins, 3 draws, and 1 loss. In those 14 games they have managed to score 25 while allowing only 11. Defense has improved tremendously, with 5 shutouts in the last 7 games. Additionally their high powered offense is once again showing positive signs with 10 goals scored in the last 5 games. I like Genoa here, who should be focused on striving for a victory. Those three points would go a long way, as they will have a tough task next week at Juventus.
GENOA pk and -0.5 -126 (8 units)
GENOA over 2 and 2.5 +106 (4 units)

Good luck,
